JASS: Job Assessment Software System

The Job Assessment Software System (JASS) is a computer program to define and measure human aptitudes required to do a job. JASS permits evaluators to identify both the need for a particular aptitude to complete a job as well as the amount of the aptitude that is required. Development for JASS software began in the early 1980’s at the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI) and continued at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) through the late 1990’s. A new version is also being designed by ARL and is intended to work on many different devices, including iOS and Android tablets. JASS uses several excellent libraries, including jQuery, jQuery Mobile, jqPlot, and PhoneGap.
