  • Job Assessment Software System (JASS)_jassyoutubescreenshot
The Job Assessment Software System (JASS) is a computer program to define and measure human aptitudes required to do a job. I created this YouTube video to provide an overview of JASS and demonstrate its use. The movie was created with iMovie.
  • Fundamentals of DfHV: Experiments_dfhvexperimentsyoutubescreenshot
This video introduces relevant concerns when conducting experiments that aid design decisions when accounting for human variability in products and environments. It’s part of a series on the fundamentals of designing for human variability that I started while a grad student in the Open Design Lab. The opening animation was created using an iPad and Final Cut Express, and the rest of the movie was created with iMovie.
  • Author’s Insight: Preference_dfhvpreferenceyoutubescreenshot
This video discusses one of my papers entitled “Including preference in anthropometry-driven models for design” that appeared in the 2007 ASME IDETC conference and a 2009 ASME JMD paper. The opening animation was created using an iPad and Final Cut Express, and the rest of the movie was created with iMovie.
